My BBC Politics South debut
I hope you managed to have some rest over the bank holiday weekend. Sadly it seems like the sun has too… In case you missed it, I made my debut BBC Politics South appearance on Sunday. You can watch a snippet here, and the full programme can be found on IPlayer.
In the short clip, I spoke about why I’m very pleased that the Prime Minister announced a new deal with the European Union. In my view, the deal offers a fresh start for our manufacturers, our young people, and for our collective European security.
Click here for a more in-depth read from me on the deal, and I’ve recently shared my views on Israel/Gaza and immigration reform too. I will always do my best to be transparent as your Member of Parliament.
Before I end today’s newsletter, I must acknowledge the awful events that have unfolded in Liverpool over the past 24 hours. No one should ever feel unsafe celebrating the success of their football team, and I’d like to thank our amazing emergency services for their swift and professional response.
As always, thank you for reading. If there is anything I can help you with, please do get in touch.
