What a weekend for football!
What a weekend for football! And I’m not talking about the FA Cup… Did you know Tattenhoe FC under 15s and Milton Keynes College FC also had huge wins this weekend in their respective cup finals? And the Buckingham Swans won their major rugby match over at Twickenham. We love to see it!
In other good local news, Milton Keynes City Council are stepping up their fight against potholes. 34 sections of the cities’ roads are going to be resurfaced in the next few months, including Stoke Road in Bletchley. I know how much of a blight potholes are, and this is why our government is putting such a focus on getting this job done.
And nationally things are looking up too. We now have the fastest growing economy in the G7, and today’s UK-EU deal will make a real difference to our prosperity. Whilst there is still a lot to do, I promise our government is working hard to deliver for hardworking British people.
As always, thank you for reading. If there is anything I can help with, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Back in Westminster I:
Took part in the committee stage of the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill.
Met with GMB to show my support for publishing ethnicity pay gaps (pictured).
Spoke in favour of the Mansion House Accord, which unlocks up to £50 billion extra investment for our economy.
