Two Years as Your MP: Delivering Change

On 5 July 2026, I marked two years since being elected as your Member of Parliament. To reflect on what we've achieved together, I've published my second Annual Report, Delivering Change, looking back on two years of serving Buckingham, Bletchley, Tattenhoe, Winslow and the many villages that make up our constituency.

Serving as your MP continues to be an incredible privilege, and I'm deeply grateful for the trust you've placed in me. I hope this report gives an honest picture of the work my team and I have been doing alongside residents, businesses and community organisations to make our area an even better place to live, work and raise a family.

Being an MP is about far more than speaking in Parliament. It's about being out in our communities, listening to residents, visiting schools, businesses and charities, and helping people wherever I can.

Over the past year, my office has responded to more than 5,000 emails from constituents and handled over 800 individual casework enquiries, supporting residents with everything from housing and healthcare to education, immigration and welfare.

One of the achievements I'm most proud of this year has been securing £17 million in funding for the eastern entrance at Bletchley railway station. This long-awaited project will improve access to the station, support the regeneration of Bletchley town centre and help attract new investment.

I've also continued to drive growth through the Bletchley Investment Taskforce, while working closely with residents on the issues that matter most. That has included hosting SEND drop-in sessions with families and schools, supporting efforts to tackle flooding across north Buckinghamshire, and feeding local views into the Government's work on children's online safety.

In Westminster, I've drawn on my background in finance to champion reforms including ISA reform, financial education, green finance and improving access to investment for growing businesses. I also continue to serve as Parliamentary Private Secretary at the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology.

To mark two years as your MP, I'm also launching a new constituency map highlighting the towns, villages and communities I've visited since being elected. When I first stood for Parliament, I promised to be a visible and approachable local MP, and visiting every part of our constituency remains one of the most rewarding parts of the job.

While we've made real progress over the past two years, there's still much more to do. Later this year, I'll set out an updated set of priorities shaped by the conversations I've had with residents, and I look forward to continuing to work alongside our communities to deliver even more in the years ahead.
